Wonderful access to help! Thanks again, Dave!! I am one of the fortunate ones whose group ins decided its members were worth the extra they will have to pick up because they’re allowing us access to remain on Zepbound with the same copay and benefits. I wish every employer were able to do this for their employees. Caremark and every other PBM needs to be taken down. This is unacceptable, unethical behavior from a health insurance conglomerate.

This is great! We lost coverage a long time ago with CVS Caremark but luckily I stocked up when we did have coverage, that supply is running out so I will be looking into this. Thank you Dave!

Would this help if I am switching insurance and at risk of my new insurance not covering Zepbound? My husband switched jobs, so we will have new insurance and I’m worried about the new coverage, especially since I’m at a healthy weight now and maintaining.

Absolutely, if they deny it!

Unrelated heads up that Novo just updated their Wegovy “one-time” promotion. Now it’s $299 for your first fill. For those that got the $199, they can also get the $299 IF they hadn’t done a SECOND fill yet. (sorry if you were a sucker who refilled in late June at $499).

Zepbound was taken off my health partners insurance formulary last January. Could this too be used in my situation?

Yep! You can appeal and request what's called a formulary exception. Claimable makes this really easy

I finally got my CVS/Caremark letter a couple of weeks ago. But my stop date of coverage is August 1, not July 1. That buys me a little more time, but I'm worried that this was a mistake and that when I go for a refill later this month, it'll be denied.

Did anyone else get an 8/1 date?

I've read about Claimable, but I didn't know exactly what it does.
