So happy to hear your heart is well! Keep resting and letting the doctors figure this out. We want you back, but not until you’re healthy and not risking another episode. Good update on the Sema findings. Tirz is still going to be my go to. Take care and give my best to your wife. I’m sure she’s overwhelmed right now. We are praying for both of you!!
Great news about your heart!!! You are in the right place to figure out the medical mystery of the dizzying to fainting experiences. May those answers come soon because being a medical mystery is STRESSFUL😵💫.
Fascinating findings …. Do we have any findings for Zepbound of a similar nature? I may have missed a posting of yours.
Keep taking good care and love up that wonderful wife of yours - she is definitely a keeper. Nice to know of a couple who are such a team and love each other so much. And that is coming from a couples’ therapist. 🥳
Well first preaise God for good news on your heart.Second prayers they find what's causing dizzy spells and passing out.God bless your wife for be so loving and suportive in times like this that's the best medicine. ON OTHER NEWS PRAYERS ONE THEY LOWER PRICES,ON DOSEING MABE HIGHER IS WHAT IS NEEDED.
So glad to hear your heart received a clean bill of health. That is massively cool!
When I was on semaglutide compound/B6 (1.25, pretty medium dose) last fall I started having weird nerve pain on the tops of my feet. It seemed to be triggered by friction. I changed my shoes to roomier ones and got some low friction socks (Balega blister resist), used some glucosamine MsM arnica cream (Now brand) for relief and gradually 9 months later it has pretty much gone away. I switched to tirzepatide compound/b12 in Feb and to Zepbound (7.5) in April. I had wondered if the B6 might have played a role there but now I’m wondering f it was the sema/single agonist. Or who knows the body is a mystery!
Prayers going up that the medical staff gets to the bottom of your health issues.
Dysesthesia! Thank you for a name! I've had weird nerve sensations on Zep from the start. Been on since Jan 25, 2024. Now up the 12.5. I was unable to describe what is going on. Feels like electric (not painful) shocks running through my body at times.
Are there any studies or rumblings about using GLP-1 for insulin resistance (A1-C under 5)?
I asked my Endocrinologist how we was able to prescribe me Metformin for Insulin Resistance (“Metabolic X Syndrome” is how he has it coded) while being covered by insurance.
He told me I wasn’t diabetic and I wasn’t morbidly obese🤷♀️. Therefore insurance wouldn’t cover the medication. I pressed him on the issue of being proactive and he didn’t have an answer other than, “the insurance companies expect you to get sick before they will cover it”. I then pressed for him to at least prescribe one of the two major brands and he would not.
I’ve been a patient with him for 20 years and he saved my life in my 20’s when he was the only endocrinologist who would see me when my OB had my insulin checked due to massive weight gain and major facial acne in my mid 20’s. But I’m thinking of switching Dr.’s?

I’m happy to hear you are doing well and have a plan for your cardiac health.

Please make this make sense to me?
More side effects but perhaps it will get us quicker to maintenance dosing. I'd take it.
I'm glad they didn't find anything troubling about your heart.
