There is a kind of strength that doesn’t show up in the gym.
It doesn’t post transformation photos.
It doesn’t go viral.
It rarely even gets thanked.
But it carries the world.
That strength is a mother.
It’s the strength to give and give and give, without a scorecard.
It’s the strength to hold space for others when your own world is falling apart.
It’s the strength to keep showing up when your body is tired, when your heart is breaking, when no one claps.
I want to honor that strength today.
The kind my wife lives out every single day with our kids.
The kind I saw in my own mother when we didn’t have much but made it her mission for us to never feel like it.
The kind I see in so many of you, many who are mothers, many who long to be, and many who mother in ways the world doesn’t always recognize.
Some of you have given birth.
Some of you are raising children you didn’t carry.
Some of you have lost.
Some of you are still waiting.
Some of you mother through your friendships, your mentorship, your presence.
And some of you have had to mother yourselves.
To the mothers in the thick of it, covered in peanut butter or exhaustion or both, I see you.
To the women who want to be mothers but can’t or haven’t yet, your pain is not invisible. You are not forgotten today. Grace and hope are still for you.
To those who lost a mother, or never had the kind they deserved, my heart is with you.
To the women in my life, my wife, my mom, and the countless women in this community, you are sacred ground. You are the reason generations rise. You are the reason we keep going.
So today, I’m not selling anything.
No product to plug, no podcast link to click.
Just a moment to say what doesn’t get said enough:
Thank you.
We see you.
We honor you.
And we’re better because of you.
Great post! Happy Mother’s Day to your wife and other significant women in your life! 💐
So beautifully said ❤️
